History
Manna Ministries of Lake Placid began as a result of a vision given to Thelma Becker that called her to “Feed My Sheep”. With the help of Memorial United Methodist Church of Lake Placid, and a small group of volunteers, Manna Ministries was formed in 1994.
Manna Ministries is still located today where it began in the original house, owned by Memorial United Methodist Church. Manna Ministries is an independent (not affiliated with any national Manna Ministries organizations), non-profit, interdenominational organization. The Board of Directors represents a variety of area churches.
