Revised Open Hours - Beginning January 23rd, in addition to regular hours of operation (Tues & Thurs 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM), Manna will begin evening distribution each Tuesday from 4:30-6:00 PM. We know it is challenging for many hard-working clients to pick up food during morning distribution hours. The new evening hours are designed to make it easy for working clients to pick up food after work. We ask clients who currently come for the morning distribution, to continue with mornings. Our goal is that the evenings will be beneficial for people who find it impossible to make morning food pickups.

Introduction Message from the New Director of Manna Ministries – Michelle Brewington: My name is Michelle Brewington. I’m the new Director of Manna Ministries. Five years ago, I began volunteering at Manna as a greeter. I quickly fell in love with the mission and the people. Over the last year our retiring Director, Anita Hurley, spent time teaching and preparing me to step into the role of Director, upon her retirement. Anita provided strong leadership and organization for five years and we will miss her. But, even with a leadership change, Manna Ministries continues on with a wonderful team of volunteers. Together we will continue to serve our community. When I’m not at Manna, I love spending time with my husband Jeff and my two grown kids. I enjoy fishing at Pine Island, hanging out with friends, gardening, cooking, Bible study and attempting crafts. I worship at Dunklin Memorial Church.

Director Anita Hurley Retires: Anita Hurley, Director of Manna Ministries has retired. The Board and volunteers thank Anita for her for her 5+ years of dedicated, unselfish and excellent volunteer service as Director. Anita excelled at organizing and made numerous beneficial changes to the operation of Manna Ministries. She was truly a Servant of God, and certainly exceeded her initial goal in “ministering to the community with the gospel and providing food for those in need”.
